The BRUNEL family: a tradition of wine-grower since 1670
Since the XVIII th century, there was, from father to son and for each generation, a BRUNEL wine-grower.
First in the county of the Gard, in Chusclan, Orsan, Bagnols sur Céze then in the county of Vaucluse since 1948 in Châteauneuf-du-Pape at the Château de la Gardine and in Rasteau, Roaix and Buisson.

Maxime et Patrick Brunel wanted to recover those terroirs from the Gard, similar to those of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for their glorious sunshine, and with the same grape varieties.

The Château de la Gardine and the Château Saint-Roch were looking to each other from the both banks of the river Rhône : they are now united, each of one keeping its specifiction but with the same ambition: to let the "terroir" express himself the best he cans, this is the expression of the Rhône.
