CHATEAU ST ROCH LIRAC RED

Terroir :
The vineyard of Château Saint-Roch is situated on the west hillside of the fault of Roquemaure.

Grape varieties: Grenache noir: 50% Mourvèdre:30% Syrah: 20%

Harvesting: Hand-made with successive sorting of grapes when arriving at the "chai".

Wine-making:
Partial or complete stripping of the grapes according to grape varieties and maturity; Then, grapes are lightly crushed then pressed and the different varieties are blended into vats where they will macerate. Then the alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature.
Maturation takes place in vats and the wine is racked regularly to eliminate deposit from the must .

Tasting and drinking:
Appearence:
Beautiful deep and bright colour.
Nez: A fruity bouquet of little red and black fruits, developing after 4 or 6 years aromas of candied sherry and stone-fruits.
Palate: robust, générous wine, with silky tannins. With age it devolops into a full-bodied and rounded wine.
Serving: Red meats, stuffed meats, all Provençal dishes and tasty cheeses.

Quantiy produced: 130 000 bottles / year.
Présentation: traditional bottle from Bourgogne 75 cl et 37,5 cl.
